Before You Begin
You'll run a real afternoon of prep together: a child is sent for, released by their teacher and handed over at the office. Here's what you need.

Reads out each step and tells the other two what to do. Ideally this is the person deciding whether to use the system, so they see the whole afternoon unfold.
A prep room teacher
Plays the teacher on duty: takes the register and checks children out when the office sends for them.
Someone in the office
Plays the office: sees who is in prep, sends for a child when a parent arrives, and hands them over.
